Children of the Sun Return

Season 1

“Gatekeeper”

The sacred bison is the Gatekeeper of the portal through which all of mankind must now pass. Gatekeeper appears at a time of collective chaos and the unraveling of the biosphere, blocking passage into our destiny path of peace, prosperity and renewal. Gatekeeper demands that the species awaken to the interconnection of all life, while surrendering economies of exploitation. The Gatekeeper is encircled by water, the gift of all gifts, but bars the way into the portal until we face our own shadow and take responsibility for what we have created. The rainbow serpent with horns and ears represents this unprecedented and necessary crisis of consciousness. We are being asked to expand our sense of self to include the other, we are being asked to come into harmony with the song of the universe.

Episode 1: IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T…

It is certainly a Friday for change, just not the changes anyone thinks they’re headed for. Steven thinks he’s moving to Seattle to restore his lost journalism career, Danny and Maddy think they’re marrying and escaping to Canada, Summer thinks she ready for some real-world fun, James has decided to play his college ball at Gonzaga for the peaceful environment, and Candice has The Eraser (Human/Reptilian Shapeshifter) back in her dreams again.

The only one who knows what is really happening is Harold, who is ironically thought to be the crazy one, and he’s been waiting 165 years for this Friday. After helping Steven lose his new job, he gives him a glimpse of his past life as a Native American and the mission Steven never knew he had signed up for. But first Steven has to survive the day before he can fulfill his destiny, because The Eraser is real, and he’s out to incite Candice to jump off the Monroe St. Bridge and send the other new arrivals over the Spokane Falls. The evil orchestrations leave Danny dead, Candice in the mental ward, and Steven in emergency brain surgery. Meanwhile in the mountains north, Harold exits his sweat lodge and is taken Into the heavens in a massive Blue Orb.

Episode 2: DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN

Lt. Col. Wright, of the U.S. Space Force, takes possession of Danny’s body from Spokane Police at the river, and soon after, the Lazarus Team van with his body is driven onto a C110 transport plane at Fairchild Air force base. Meanwhile, his pregnant wife Maddy is being hunted by military police downtown, when she is rescued by a butch lesbian bouncer, Toni, at the back ally door to a busy gay bar. At a popular eatery near the Gonzaga campus, James points out Steven to Summer, on the local TV news coverage of the Monroe St. Bridge drama. James knows he must see if he can help him, and Summer is definitely up for the adventure. In the ICU, Steven dreams of his past Native American life.

By sunrise, The Redeemer enters Steven’s ICU room, as an ICU nurse named Alice. She swaps out his IV for one filled from a large blue bottle. On the eighth floor of the same hospital, The Eraser presents himself at the Psychiatric Triage wing, as Candice’s psychiatrist, Dr. Heimbigler, there to arrange her release. While he gets slowed by paperwork and red tape, James and Summer arrive looking to visit Steven. They are overheard by The Redeemer, and she recruits them into a daring plan to get Steven and Candice out of the hospital. Just before Spokane police corner them, Harold appears and leads them to a basement loading dock and a waiting service truck. After dropping James and Summer at his hotel, Harold drives Candice and Steven to the Spokane Tribe Reservation. On the way Steven comes to but remembers nothing… about anything.

Down in Peaceful Valley, an exhausted Maddy, sleeps under the protective eye of Toni and her partner, Lynn. And in Geneva, Candice’s husband, Kurt reads a text of what’s happened back in Spokane as he checks into the Four Seasons Hotel with Candice’s good friend, Cindy. Kurt immediately makes a call — back in Spokane The Eraser answers.

Episode 3: TOO FOOL FOR SCHOOL

Steven dreams of his reporting from Iraq during a firefight. He takes refuge in a warehouse where he watches millions of U.S. dollars unloaded from trucks. When he exits, he finds himself, Steven, back at the Battle of Four Lakes and is immediately shot in the shoulder. He awakens at the reservation medical clinic attended by Harold, Candice and native nurse Gladys.

In Spokane, local TV news reports the murder of Dr. Heimbigler, on the TV in the small office of the big warehouse were Al Spencer smokes a joint, as he tours the rows of his huge marijuana grow. His mother’s memory care facility calls - Mom’s upset and needs him. At Toni & Lynn’s, Maddy tells her difficult story, which leads to her receiving a gender-neutral makeover. Later they take her back to NYNE, where they introduce her to owner Kat, who offers her a job in the kitchen. After coming out of the anesthesia fog, Steven meets the native surgeon who put the rest of the right side of his scull back in his head. James and Summer can’t believe what they’ve been through in the first hours of knowing each other. But they soon discover an incredible connection. Harold brings Candice into Steven’s room at the reservation clinic and begins to inform them about why they’ve been brought together. Steven wants nothing to do with it and Candice needs to ask if she’s been kidnapped.

At Candice’s home The Eraser is dressed as a Spokane police officer, one of several finishing a search of the property. All leave but The Eraser, who pulls an equipment bag from the squad car and heads back to Candice’s studio, unaware that he’s being watched by the Redeemer from Candice’s bedroom. At the memory care home Marion, Al’s mom, asks him if he got to see his brother Danny before he had his accident, and they took him away to fix him… again.

Episode 4: THE LAW OF ONE, OR NONE

Toni takes Maddy to NYNE where some of the regular gals throw her an impromptu baby shower to try to comfort her. But she can’t control the pain of her loss. This makes Lynn more contemptuous. At the Reservation Clinic, Steven dreams of his native life, enjoying a salmon feast with his family and tribe. He wakes feeling much better, and Candice has calmed down, as well. Harold takes her to Steven’s room. He informs them that they are more powerful and significant than they’ve ever been allowed to believe. While Candice is rather intrigued, and she enjoys reminding Steven how he saved her life. Steven could be softening. Harold points out their connection through The Law of One.

When Janet drops Summer that evening, she finds her parents entertaining a man on the terrace overlooking the lake. When she gets down to them, her dad introduces her to Mr. Beckman, aka, The Eraser. Harold leads Candice and Steven through a shared hypnotic regression. He, as Two Mountains, rides the plateau to the village of the Walla Walla tribe, where Morning Dove anticipates him. He races through the village, swooping her up in stride, as her father and other watch with a sense of approval. When Candice and Steven come out of the hypnotic state, they look at each other with a deep love and knowing before embracing.
