Created by Mark Charles Ritter

Concept

A washed-up investigative reporter is shown the mission he never knew he signed up for – a mission he and others could not complete in their previous lives as Natives in the American Northwest 165 years ago.

This diverse team of reincarnates must evolve beyond what they’ve ever known, to cross time and dimension, from the Northwest to Inner Earth, to pre-ancient Lemuria and back, to thwart the plans of a hidden alien force to create a geothermal Armageddon.

Summary

When the Galaxy is going to Hell, the only way out is UP!

Risk-addicted, blacklisted investigative reporter, Steven Redmann, has cleaned up his act to resurrect his career. He arrives in Spokane, WA, for his first assignment; to interview the Tribal Casino G.M. He blows it gloriously, helped by the telekinetic provocations of Harold “Sky River”, who then leads him to a historic marker where Harold induces Steven to have a vision of himself in his previous life -- as a Native American dying on the battlefield of the genocidal 1858 Plateau Indian Wars.

Welcome to the epic mission you never knew you signed up for.

Quantum Physics is the new Shamanism, as Harold trains Steven to lead a diverse team of other reincarnates to become Grid Keepers, custodians of Earth’s energetic grid system. But they’d better learn fast, because a Dracos (shapeshifting Human/Reptilian hybrid), known as “The Eraser,” is out to stop them again – after destroying the mission in 1858 – no matter the evil necessary to fulfill the ancient agenda of the fallen, Inner Earth Reptilian Races.

The trials ahead for the Grid Keepers will force them to traverse time, space, and dimensions – from Inner Earth to Lemuria, 52,000 yrs. ago – to prevent a geothermal Armageddon and secure humanity’s long-foretold Golden Age of Enlightenment & Ascension.

If he survives the odyssey of the mission, will Steven have vanquished his demons to accept the hero’s mantle and live with love? …as Earth opens her Universal Stargate and becomes an Inter-Galactic Ascension Platform.

Episodic Structure

As the saga unfolds, each new arriving Grid Keeper brings a unique story line and contribution. Each season expands the scope and consequences of their mission, that will take them many places across time, space, and dimension, but always returns them to the Inland Northwest, where their mission must be fulfilled.

Characters

  • Harold "Sky River" Thompson

    (175) He really is that old. The lone survivor of the first attempt by the Gridkeepers. But he is only alive because he was rescued and taken to the ninth dimensional planet Trijon by a blue orb. There he was trained in workings of our 15-dimensional Time Matrix system and other advanced metaphysics. In his many trips there over time, he has been healed and rejuvenated from the aging experienced in our lower dimensional reality. He has been given the responsibility of awakening, training, and protecting the fulfillment of the Gridkeepers mission. He’ll do that with a dry-wit-sense-of-humor and the conviction Moses.

  • Steven Redmann

    (56) A risk addicted niellist, at his worst. At his best… well, let’s just say, that’s yet to be found, but better than he’s ever imagined. Once a talented investigative reporter – his time reporting from the Iraq War cost him his marriage, and when the network wouldn’t run his huge scoop, his protests destroyed his career and his relationship with this daughter. He has spent most of the last twenty years battling alcoholism and a gambling addiction. But, his real issue is older than any of that and he’s determined not to speak about the disappearance of his father and brother, at age twelve. But he’ll do a lot he never though he would.

  • Candice Darling

    (53) A successful artist and musician, she never had to work at being beautiful or talented, it just occurred naturally for her. Women want to be her, and men want to possess her, and when they can’t, some try to destroy her. A violently dysfunctional home growing up left her believing that true love only exists with God. Which is why she settled for a philandering, absentee husband, who views love as a weakness and possession the goal. After raising Kurt’s two troubled children, she is left with her worship leader position at the mega church and her artwork as a metal sculptor. Candice seeks meaning, especially when its not there.

  • The Eraser

(52k) A Dracos (Shape-Shifting Human/Reptilian hybrid) born to the Priestess Leader of the lost Pacific continent of Lemuria, after she was raped by an Inner Earth Omicron-Drakonian Royal Reptilian. As an infant he was kidnaped by his father’s Reptilian forces just prior to the cataclysmic sinking of the continent 52,000 years ago. But he was never accepted by the royal class, and a misstep got him sentenced to thousands of years of service in the Phantom Matrix and he’s vowed never to return there. Getting a second chance on Earth, he successfully destroyed the Gridkeeper’s first attempt and if he’s successful now, humanity’s redemption would become its demise. He infiltrates lives and dreams, bring out the worst in people. But he’s growing tired of it all.

  • The Redeemer

(Ageless) She seems to be there when she’s most needed, but otherwise people don’t seem to be aware of her existence. She goes by many names when she makes an appearance, always appropriate to the environment, and always in guardianship of the sacred feminine energy of Mother Earth. But don’t mistake her feminine grace for any form of vulnerability, she is an ascended master thoroughly prepared for the mission she has stayed to help fulfill. The Historic Davenport Hotel holds some connection to the unfolding powers she holds. Her mission is for the divine life force of creation, but her acceptance of her role is for a deeply personal reason she is always conscious of and ever present in her heart.

  • James Cooper

    (18) After having suffered the injustice of losing his father to a bystander death from gang violence as a child, and his uninsured poor mother to Covid in the relentless pandemic, he feels convicted to help bring justice for other less fortunates. His basketball talents are his ticket to a pre-law degree, and other possible rewards. He just couldn’t do it in the City of Angeles, that took his parents and broke his heart. So, Gonzaga University and the tranquility of the City of Spokane have suddenly become his opportunity to find peace, not knowing he’s actually jumping from the frying pan into the fire. But James brings a depth of character and compassion of the heart big enough to help save the world, if he survives the target The Eraser draws on his back.

  • Madonna "Maddy" Mason

    (24) Born in Hawaii, her mother of pure Hawaiian heritage, died when she was just three. Her father, a Naval Petty Officer, then brought her to the desert Naval Weapons Base in China Lake, CA. She grew up wanting to be a hula dancer like her mother, but the only work for a dancer was at The Desert Strip. It wound up paying to keep her dad and her alive after his failing heart forced his retirement. After Dad’s death Lt. Danny Gladwell became her knight in shining armor, who might rescue her from the exploitation she endures to survive and lead her out of the desert to a perfect future. She’ll soon learn that it’s her own courage that will save her and their daughter.

  • Lt. Danny Gladwell

    (27) His father took custody of him at age two when his parents divorced and was sent off to a secretive school for Mensa children, at seven. As a teenager he was pulled into the Naval Secret Space program, where his empathic talents were developed, and he trained to pilot the most advanced antigravitational space craft. But he’s fed up with his secret life and yearns for a family life he never was allowed to have, making him extremely dangerous to the program he seeks to leave behind. Danny may look as regular as can be, but that covers up a psyche as complex as his history in the program.

  • Summer Carlson

    (18) She is the granddaughter of a now dead White Supremist leader in Northern Idaho. She knows her father, Hank, a very successful builder, still holds a racist heart, despite his community minded, moderate Republican appearances. But she plays him like Candy Crush, rebelling with a hip-hop lifestyle that taunts him, knowing her trophy-wife mother would divorce his ass if he showed up acting like his father. Now that she is graduating high school and putting a state boarder between her and the parents – while still being close to their money – she is excited to begin living a free and adventurous life without boundaries. She’s determined to shake things up and knows how to do it.

Supporting Characters

  • Kurt Darling

    (59) A charming misogynist when he’s being nice and a ruthless prick, oil industry attorney, who doesn’t just want to win, he wants to dominate, all the rest of the time. He will seek every corrupt advantage he can in everything. He has secret bank accounts around the world, but it’s still not enough. He’s has cheated on Candice for years and keeps her tightly controlled, even in his absence. Kurt has always stayed several step ahead of trouble, but trouble is catching up.

  • Toni Barbata

    (32) Toni came out as a lesbian in high school. After four difficult years in the Marines she considered SRS (sexual reassignment surgery). She enjoyed the early hormone treatments, but chickened out of the surgical change. Her hobbies of body building and martial arts make her the perfect bouncer at the lesbian/gay bar NYNE. She lives with an insecure partner, Lynn. What motivates Toni is seeking justice for and protecting others in trouble. Sometimes she tries too hard at it.

  • Hank Carlson

    (45) A successful builder and son of former white supremist leader, Denton Carlson, he tries to portray himself as a moderate republican, but his employees and his buddies try to pull him back to the racist right. Hank is in this spot because of his love for Victoria, his liberal trophy wife, who laid down some laws to him. His daughter, Summer, knows his game and plays it to her advantage. Hank is weary from straddling the fence, and his racist heritage is starting to show through.

  • Cindy Barker

    (48) When her husband was alive, they became close friends with Candice and Kurt. But when her husband died in a strange accident, she expanded her secret relationship with Kurt. She has pretended to be Candice’s best friend for years, waiting for the day she can take her place. She foolishly thinks she’s Kurt’s only other relationship. She loves to mess with peoples’ heads, with her passive/aggressive manipulations, and despite what she thinks, she has bad taste.

  • Herm Underwood

(eternally 30-something) An ally of The Redeemer, he works as a Barista at the coffee kiosk in the lobby of the Davenport Hotel. He’s been openly gay, like… forever! But don’t mistake his feminine grace for being a sissy – he’s a world class subterranean explorer – having explored all of the planet’s great cave systems. He’s also gaining fans in local theater when he’s not working or underground. A great thing about Herm is that he always knows how you take your coffee.

  • Lt. Col. Wright

    (52) A thirty year veteran of the Naval Secret Space Force, he has big plans here on Earth and in the greater Galaxy, now that a Trump formed U.S. Space Force provides cover for decades of clandestine activities. Key to his plans are the talents and skills of Lt. Danny Gladwell and he’s not about to let him retire and make a family. He enjoys his command – his problem is knowing when to stop. That old problem of too much power in the hands of those who enjoy power too much.
